The Loved
There is nothing more in the world that he loves more than his {younger} twin brother - Yuuto. Without him he knew he would cease to exist. Due to their life of struggle, they are much closer than most brothers. Hiraku is even willing to put up with the other vampires of the night class to stay with him.
Apples. Second on Hairaku's list is apples, especially Gannysmiths. You will never see him without an apple in hand unless something really wrong is happening/something is bothering him.
He's a very outgoing person, and so he lives an outdoor life. Climbing up trees, swimming in lakes - the usual 'boy's' activities - really get his adrenaline going. He will happily start climbing a forty foot tree while Yuuto sits at the base reading a book. Because of this, he also thrives on 'adventures' - He may be a werewolf and almost years old, but he still likes to play 'pretend' and fight invisible monsters.
The Hated
The one thing he knows he cannot defeat, would be those that turned him and his brother into what they are. Even after all the training and lessons, he still hates what they've become, and in turn, hates those that made them the way they are. This doesn't mean he hates every single werewolf and vampire; just those responsible for similar transactions such as theirs.
For some reason, he cannot stand bitter or sour food/drinks. Probably due to his childish personality, he hates coffee or sour sweets, much preferring to stick with hot chocolate and cake.
One thing that particularly gets on his nerves is how a lot of the vampires believe they're better than werewolves. He doesn't care much about the werewolf/vampire situation, but when someone believes their better than someone else because of their race, it really gets his blood boiling. The same goes for age and appearance - if someone judges someone else because their smaller/fatter/younger, he just can't sit around and watch while they get away with it.
The Feared
Even though he hates them, he knows he wouldn't stand a chance against them. The fear of meeting those that turned him and his brother freezes him on the spot. What if they finished the job? Or took his brother away? In fact, if his brother was threatened to be killed, he would gladly offer himself instead. Yuuto might hate him afterwards, but he wouldn't care. As long as he got him to live, Yuuto could hate him all he wanted to.
Doctors. After all that probing and testing, he absolutely can't stand them.
The Attitude
At a glance, Conan is usually friendly, laid-back, outgoing and talkative. He enjoys being around other people and manages to get along with most of them fairly well most of the time, as he tends to go about dealing with practically everyone he meets in a light-hearted manner, fond of joking around with his friends and teasing them – not maliciously, of course – as well as making a habit of giving people nicknames. He is relatively informal with his speech and behaviour towards others, not necessarily in a rude way, but simply a casual sort of friendliness.
Generally open with his emotions, Conan doesn't really seem to hide anything when it comes to those. He is easy enough to read, and his emotions, whether positive or negative, are hard to miss – Conan doesn't hold back when it comes to showing the positive ones and is quick to have a smile ready, but he also doesn't hold back when something happens to cause genuinely negative emotions to take over. And when that does happen, he can lose his temper, becoming upset or angry and yelling or even lashing out violently. In a fight, if he gets annoyed, he has a tendency to smile or grin nonetheless and throw taunts – if it's a far more serious situation, however, he may simply be angry.
The Past
Hiraku was born as an eldest twin into a simple life. His parents owned and lived in an inn which was built in the middle of the countryside, where they got a few customers a month which got enough income to survive on. The didn't live a luxurious life, but neither were they poor. As soon as they could walk steadily and talk legitimately, they started helping around the business, entertaining guests and acting as waiters of a sort.
It was when they turned to the age of 5 when things started to turn for the worse. It had been a particularly quiet month, when a guest arrived. Hiraku went to retrieve the man's bag, but was briskly pushed away. He'd never felt anything like it; he didn't even know what was happening until he realised he was on the floor. The man quickly made his way to a room, leaving Hiraku and Yuuto to stare at his back in confusion.
Shortly afterwards, a new guest arrived. He seemed nervous for some reason, but that didn't deter the twins. They greeted him like any other guest, and received a warmer reaction, though still was reluctant to get close to them. Once he made his way to a room, the twins went out to play as they no work to do.
A gut wrenching scream rang out from the house. It was obvious it was their mother, so they ran as fast as possible to the source. There was blood everywhere, and two lumps of flesh lying sprawled on the floor. They weren't even recognisable. A man - the first to enter the inn - was stood breathing hard, facing the second figure. They both screamed in unison. What stood before them wasn't a man any more, but a beast with a feral look in his eye. They began to run out, but were easily outran and pinned. The 'beast' had its claws on each of their shoulders, holding them to the floor. It looked to Hiraku with a wild look in its eyes before suddenly biting down on his arm. He screamed out, and the 'man' quickly punched the beast off. Hiraku curled into a ball, putting a hand to the open wound and falling unconscious, while Yuuto knelt over his brother trying to help him up. He happened to glance to the 'man' and beast, and noticed that the man's eyes were exactly like that of the beast. What were they? He managed to get Hiraku to his feet, but the fight between 'man' and 'beast' escalated. The walls were dented, furniture was destroyed, yet both of them received only minor wounds. Finally, the beast was pushed back, straight through the walls to the outside. The man slowly approached the twins, and Yuuto thought he was going to help him carry Hiraku. But the next thing he knew was a searing pain in his neck, and the man was biting down on the flesh on his throat. He couldn't even scream out; only let the tears fall as he thought it was over - he would never see his family again. That's why he was stunned into numbness as the man stopped, letting Yuuto fall to the floor unconscious.
When they awoke, they were lying in hospital beds. They over heard the doctors talking to the police about how 'wild animals must have attacked' and how their parents had been found slaughtered on the scene. They sat up, and instead of the anticipated pain, they found that they felt as if nothing had happened. Looking to where their wounds were supposed to be, there was nothing out of the ordinary. They decided to lie and say they had been out; it would be too suspicious to say what had really happened.
Foster care. Because of their deep bond, they insisted on staying together, so it was a while before they had found a suitable foster parent. Even then, it didn't last long; they were pre-warned that the foster parent was going to move soon, and they didn't want to leave with them. So they ended up back in care, where they stayed for over five years.
But something was wrong. They were ten then, yet they looked exactly the same as when they first arrived. They had no idea what was wrong, and even the doctors were stumped. Psychologists put it down the them wanted to remain the same as before 'that' happened, so the body stopped growing. They didn't believe it. They knew it was something to do with the bites, as stories of vampires and werewolves had entered their imagination. But this didn't satisfy the doctors. There were blood tests, scans, x-rays... any innumerable amount of tests were done to figure out what was 'wrong', but all it did was make them seems as healthy as ever, maybe even more than healthy.
They finally cracked. Running away seemed like the best option for them now, and after living on the streets as pocket thieves for over twenty years, they finally found somewhere where they could belong. The headmistress of a 'special' school enrolled them in a night class where they wouldn't be shunned for what they were, and where they could freely live as normal, human beings. Because they had nowhere else to go, they re-attended the school every time they graduated for over 200 years, becoming the schools longest attending students.

The Finale
He had needed air, and a moment to think. Perhaps even a place to relax within the walls of the city. Cain stretched his arms over his head, before he tugged slender fingers through his wild golden hair. He paid no mind to the mess he made of it, because he was far more interested in his surroundings. It was blessedly quiet here; the castle had been the complete opposite, and already, despite being here for only a short time, he'd found that this area was a good place to get away from it all.
His trousers rustled quietly against the length of his long legs, as he continued to move at a slow and leisurely pace. There wasn't any rush. He didn't have anywhere to be and this would continue to help keep his mind away from the troubles of Anesia. It helped clear his mind so his decisions didn't become rusty from over-work, and also it helped ease the pain he felt from the villager's troubles. And honestly, it would be nearly impossible to tell that he'd been upset. At least, unless if you really knew him. And even then it'd be difficult.
Cain was headed toward a clearing he'd found the other way. Stepping off of the main path and into the side streets to continue onward. Honestly, it really wasn't far and it was the perfect place for him to cut loose for a while. Really, it was too bad that there wasn't more wilderness around here. But then, one couldn't expect everywhere to be as remote as the forests of Ashath.
And in truth, though he'd only had a brief drive through the whole city, it was a rather nice place to be. Anelle's sister really had done a good job in raising this place, and now it was their responsibility.
I know the rules state one character per account, but I think of these two as more of a 'two halves' than a whole character XD
