The Loved
Shizuna doesn't ever mind--she will openly state that she loves human blood. She doesn't feel bad about it at all, which is troublesome because of the school's policies. Also she can't stand fake blood, so that just adds to her predicament. She can be appeased and will love you forever if you give her chocolate. Not white chocolate though. One of her hobbies is to play her double contra bass flute, which is always babied by her and kept in her dorm room. Another hobby of hers is to draw and doodle in her spare time, occasionally she can be caught sketching the person she likes at the moment. If she's in the right mood, she's very sociable and loves to chat with others, no matter what race they are. If she's not in the mood to talk though, she's usually either drawing or playing flute.
The Hated
Shizuna despises fake blood--in fact, she can't even keep it down. Not to say she hasn't tried, she just can't drink it. Therefore she occasionally sneaks out of the school some nights to hunt, which she doesn't find appealing at all. Call her lazy, she likes to wait like a spider for her food. Her most despised subject is P.E. because she doesn't even have to try at it. The humans are always amazed at her and the other non-humans for their abilities to run around, Shizuna could care less.
Shizuna hates the Prefects and Hunters, mainly because she has to sneak past them about twice a week. She usually has no trouble, but there have been times she has been caught. This usually lands her in a boring lecture by one of the teachers or even the headmistress. Talk about repetitive.
The Feared
Like any sane person, Shizuna fears death, because however improbable it is for a vampire, it is possible. She's also afraid of the werewolves in the academy. She doesn't have anything against them and doesn't really understand the whole rivalry deal, but she'd put a pretty penny to bet that they despise vampires. Although she claims otherwise, she's fearful of men, especially the non human ones. She tries her best not to be involved with that gender whatsoever. Shizuna fears rejection, which is especially common in her case. This in turn makes her worry too much about even a simple crush, nevermind love. She'll have her fluffy moments, but all other times she's thinking of a way to stop crushing.
The Attitude
Towards women, she's very nice and speaks with warm tones. She's especially kind to humans for some odd reason. However, to any male she is harsh and cruel, and if she ever speaks with them it is with a cold, venomous tone. This is of course for first impressions--if she finds out that a girl is very nasty she's very nasty back, and if a certain guy is kind and warm towards her cold retreats, she at least attempts to be nicer towards them.
If she gets involved in a conversation with a friend she can talk with them for probably two hours straight. She thanks her spastic thinking process for this, because she'll use just about anything as a conversation piece.
She can be very vain with her looks, and will often be straightening her clothes or running a hand through her hair to place it neatly behind her ear.
The Past
Shizuna's real father died before she was even born, but she wishes she could have known him. She grew up with just her mother and herself, and lived like this for perhaps 400 years. Then her mother found a mortal man whom she loved, and Shizuna also kind of liked him as a father figure. She didn't know why her mother tortured herself like this though, for they both knew that the man wasn't about to get turned anytime soon. He, as expected, died of old age, he had lived for a good 100 years.
It wasn't nearly so long that a vampire came into both of their lives, trying to court both at the same time. This sickened Shizuna, and she spent almost all her spare time rejecting him. She started to feed more frequently--every night actually, but she never killed her victims in that time period, for reasons unknown. She finally decided to move out, because the vampire was just too damn persistent. She warned him that if he followed her she'd not hesitate in killing him, and this seemed to work for him. She doesn't remember how exactly she found out about the academy, but she's glad she did.
The Family
Shizuna was an only child when her mother was with her first husband, they were both vampires. Her father was killed before Shizuna was even born, the cause of death unknown. Her mother remarried a human man, who is currently dead, and has lately remarried yet again a different vampire who is only 186 years of age. Shizuna has been away from her family ever since this happened, and decided to enroll herself into Dark Academy. She neither knows nor cares about the whereabouts of her family.
The Finale
Shizuna growled fiercely at him for the final time, flashing her teeth at the vile man. "If I ever find you following me, I WILL kill you! For the last damned time, I'm leaving dammit!" She cursed, mentally thanking God that her mother wasn't in the alley, no where near to hear her being this mean. She then used every fiber in her body to seemingly disappear, darting between buildings and through tightly knit alleyways, until she found herself in the park. She shook her hair out of her face, hearing a strangely familiar voice to her right. "Are you still feeling unwell, miss?" She furrowed her brow and looked at the source of the feminine voice, seeing a girl she didn't really recognize that well. When the girl hesitantly came closer she could see two punctures in the girl's neck and blushed. "Go away, please, forget about me, I'm fine..." The words rushed from her, her nerves jittery from the sight of that kind of wound on a living human. The other girl laughed, mumbling the phrase 'forget about me?' to herself. Shizuna took a quick breath, and made a mad dash out of the park, making sure that when she stopped next time, there was no one around.
I bet she's confused even worse now, unless she's just plain traumatized...looked like it. She thought as she ran, and leaped up into a tree, climbing up and slowing down as she did. She perched on a branch, looking down at the scene below. She looked up at the pale night sky, very soon to be dawn. She sighed, thankfully her instincts had led her to a cave, somehow. She walked in, traveling deep into the cave and laid down against the damp stone wall. For now, this was enough.
